Who We Are:

The Washington Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (WATSA) is a state chapter of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA). Incorporated in 1984, ATSA is a non-profit, interdisciplinary organization. ATSA was founded to foster research, facilitate information exchange, further professional education and provide for the advancement of professional standards and practices in the field of sex offense management.

 

Our Goals

ATSA is an international organization focused specifically on the prevention of sexual abuse through effective management of persons who commit sex offenses. As a state chapter of ATSA, we similarly strive to:

  • Elimination of sexual victimization;
  • The protection of our communities through responsible and ethical treatment commit persons who who commit sexual offenses;
  • The prevention of sexual assault through commit management of persons who commit sexual offenses;
  • The maintenance of high standards of professionalism and integrity within its membership.

RETREAT INFO:


WATSA will be returning to Mountain View Lodge the first weekend in June (6/3-6/5 of 2016) ) for the annual Roger Wolfe Memorial Retreat.    The retreat syllabus is now available:  Syllabus .      No preregistration is required, however, please make sure you make your hotel reservation.   If you stay at the Lodge you must pay both Friday and Saturday nights.
