Who We Are:

The Washington Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (WATSA) is a state chapter of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA). Incorporated in 1984, ATSA is a non-profit, interdisciplinary organization. ATSA was founded to foster research, facilitate information exchange, further professional education and provide for the advancement of professional standards and practices in the field of sex offense management.


Our Goals

ATSA is an international organization focused specifically on the prevention of sexual abuse through effective management of persons who commit sex offenses. As a state chapter of ATSA, we similarly strive to:

  • Elimination of sexual victimization;
  • The protection of our communities through responsible and ethical treatment commit persons who who commit sexual offenses;
  • The prevention of sexual assault through commit management of persons who commit sexual offenses;
  • The maintenance of high standards of professionalism and integrity within its membership.

  • The WATSA Spring Conference is March 4-6, 2016 at Suncadia Resort.    Registration is now open.   Please click here to go to the event page.
  •  Attendance for the entire conference will earn you 14 CE Hours. 

WATSA will be returning to Mountain View Lodge the first weekend in June (6/3-6/5 of 2016) ) for the annual Roger Wolfe Memorial Retreat.   If you have any suggestions or ideas for a topic to be discussed at the retreat, please email them to contact@watsa.org
