Dr. Rebecca Wiester, MD of UW Medicine and Children's Hospital will be presenting information regarding investigating child abuse cases. There are certain patterns and indicators of child abuse that trained medical professionals look for when referred a case for evaluation. Dr. Wiester will discuss what these patterns and indicators of abuse are.
This presentation includes images and descriptions of child abuse. For some people this may be triggering. Please be mindful of this if you attend the presentation, and take care of yourself, especially if you are triggered by the images or descriptions of abuse.
