Engaging Men to End Commercial Sexual Exploitation
King County is home to a groundbreaking collaborative effort to end Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CSE) by promoting men’s accountability. Ben Lopez, Men's Accountability Manager at Washington Trafficking Prevention, will describe his work with the innovative 10 week sex buyer intervention program Stopping Sexual Exploitation: a Program for Men (SSE). He will also discuss how this program fits with the holistic model being developed to engage multiple sectors of society in efforts to end the harmful practice of sex buying by shifting the social and cultural norms at the root of CSE.
