An Overview of Recent Research Regarding the Assessment,
Treatment and Management of Online Sex Offenders
Dr. Michael Seto, Ph.D. will lead a one day workshop regarding assessment, treatment and management of on-line sex offenders, particularly those who have committed offenses involving child pornography.
UBC- Robson Square is located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, B.C. on Robson Street. There is parking at the law court one block away for $16 per day. It is also easily accessible by SkyTrain from other parts of the city as well as outlying areas. Link: http://robsonsquare.ubc.ca/
WATSA has secured hotel rooms at the Residence Inn Vancouver Downtown for both the night of Sunday May 11 and May 12, 2014 at the rate of $189CD for single or double occupancy (self-parking is an additional $19 per day). This hotel is about 5 blocks from UBC-Robson Square. There are only 20 rooms guaranteed at that rate. You must make your reservation by April 11, 2014 to secure that rate. The rate requires 72 hour notice from your date of arrival to cancel without penalty. The hotel will accommodate more people and/or reservations after April 11, 2014 on a space available basis. (There is currently room at the hotel, however the group rate is no longer available)
WATSA is offering 6 CE hours (for Washington State credentialed providers needing hours related to their DOH license). All participants will be provided with a certificate of attendance upon signing in and out of the workshop and completing a workshop evaluation.
